Saved Movie Review

A little less satirical than the trailer would have you believe, Saved! has crept into the top 10 thanks to its steady marketing campaign and positive word-of-mouth from audiences and critics alike. Mandy Moore, who needed to reinvent herself a bit, has scored big for her efforts, but it's Jena Malone who's garnering the most attention.

Meanwhile, writer-director Brian Dannelly and his screenwriting partner Michael Urban are prepping their second feature, Runner-Up, about a seasoned beauty queen who organizes a pageant at a women's prison in order to fulfill her community service sentence.
