Remember that '70s song "The Things We Do For Love"
by 10cc? You know, the one about walking in the rain
and the snow and there's nowhere to go, and you're feeling
like a part of you is dying?Well, "March of the
Penguins" makes humans look like complete slackers
in the romance department.The things these creatures
do for love — or at least for reproduction —
include trekking dozens of miles across the Antarctic
ice, going for months without food and enduring temperatures
of 70 degrees below zero with 100 mph winds. And that's
before the baby emperor penguins even hatch.......more..

Even if the thermostat in his suite at Toronto's Four
Seasons Hotel could reach -60 degrees Celsius, Luc Jacquet
is perfectly comfortable at about 22 degrees, thank
you very much. He's not sporting a gargantuan North
Face parka either, nor does he possess one of those
bushy moustaches with tiny icicles hanging from each
hair. But the tall, clean-shaven Frenchman, who lived
in the frigid Antarctic for five months while making
his movie March of the Penguins, does acknowledge the
challenge of re-entry."Each time we return from
a long shoot in the Antarctic, it's very hard to return
to a civilization that moves so quickly -- with stuff
like mobile phones and money to worry about -- because
in the Antarctic you have to live according to the rhythm
