Ram Gopal Varma as the producer behind this movie, you
can already guess what kind of ride you are in for!
Here comes newcomer Mohit Ahlawat playing the title
role of James. The movie revolves around the political
power that is run in the city of Mumbai run by the family
of ‘Shanti Narayan’ whose main form of control
is brutality.James arrives in Mumbai, with just his
belongings packed into one bag along with his raw, ambitious
and aggressive attitude. Planning to stay with his childhood
friend ‘Babaloo’ he lands himself the job
of ‘head bouncer’ at a popular night spot.
Here he meets Nisha (Nisha Kotharia)and is smitten by
her charm and the way in which she carries herself,
initially their acquaintance is just mutual and friendly
but their relationship grows stronger.Along comes the
brother of ‘Shanti Narayan’ known as ‘Radhe
Narayan’ who on one drunken night clashes with
James as he misbehaves at the club.
James realises that Radhe is fixated by Nisha also,
and begins to set him straight at the club. Humiliated
Radhe sets out with the Narayan clan to hunt down James,
as a result ‘Babaloo’ is killed.The climax
is a gritty mix of fistfights and battles that show
the journey of James and how his retribution must not
let him stray towards the evil that is all around him.
